Franco Uomo on Santana Row is not a traditional retail store. We are one part Clothing Boutique, one part Professional Style Consultant, and one part Tailoring Service. This unique blend of product, service, and expertise requires that we establish rules and policies.
We make our best commitment to balance being fair to our customers while protecting our own service and ask that respect, understanding, and honesty remain mutual.

Does Franco Uomo offer any discounts?
Franco Uomo cannot offer any discounts while maintaining the quality of product and service that sets us apart from every other suit maker. Your order is a la carte: you can choose what to add to your order and look with us and what not to add to your order.
We are confident that you will find that while there are many other less expensive options for suits and accessories on the market, that our product and quality speaks for itself. We respect your decision as much as we ask you to respect our quality and value.
What are the Express Fees?
Our standard turn-around time for a Custom Signature Suit is 6-8 Weeks.
We charge a 10% Express Fee for orders due under 6 weeks.
We charge a 15% Express Fee for orders under 5 weeks.
We charge a 20% Express Fee for orders under 4 weeks.
We charge a 30% Express Fee for orders due in 3 weeks.
We reserve the right to determine which time frame is necessary based on our current amount of orders being processed, the complexity of the express order being placed, and the amount of time we believe that we will need to complete potential alterations after your suit arrives.
What happens if I am not happy with my design?
Franco Uomo is Silicon Valley’s only Bespoke Couture Custom Clothing Boutique. As we say: there is “nothing within the limits of fabric and thread that we cannot do.” Your stylist will walk you through all of the options that are possible in helping you to design your Custom Signature Suit and/or look.
In some cases, we may need to schedule a follow-up appointment if we need time to search for a specific fabric from our suppliers if we do not have what you are looking for in stock. However, if you have a specific fabric that you are looking for we will be sure to confirm that we are able to get the fabric before proceeding with the design consultation.
While your stylist will make recommendations on how a choice might turn out, your custom garment will ultimately be a product designed by you and to your liking.
What happens if my fabric is out of stock?
We make our best effort to ensure that your fabric selection is available during your appointment. If we aren’t confident that a fabric will be available, your stylist will have you select a backup fabric selection in case your primary selection ends up not being available. Your stylist will contact you before production to notify you of the fabric change if necessary before your suit goes into production.
If it is understood that your order is contingent on a specific fabric and we do not have a suitable replacement, then your order will be cancelled and refunded in full.
What if I want to cancel my order?
We understand that circumstances can change. If you decide to cancel your order and the fabric has not yet been cut, we can process a cancellation and provide a refund. However, once the fabric has been cut and production has begun, we are unable to cancel or refund the order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to make any changes.
What if I want to change my design?
Any design change requests received after an order is submitted will be sent to our production team. We are unable to guarantee that any changes will be made and we may not be able to confirm that a change has been made until your garment arrives.
What happens if my order comes out wrong?
Franco Uomo has a strict Quality Control process that catches nearly all errors that arise in the production process. We consider every custom order to be a contract between you and your stylist that must be fulfilled to your satisfaction and we will make every effort possible to correct your order to the design specification and your liking.
What if I don’t like my stylist?
On some days, we don’t like each other either. If you are unhappy with a particular stylist, please feel free to request that a different stylist help you in the future.
