Our Best Looks of 2024

Just when we thought that we couldn’t go further, Franco Uomo picked up steam. The Wedding Curve that we predicted in 2020 continued into 2022 with couples pulling all the stops on increasingly opulent suits, tuxedos, and gowns. As travel reopened, Silicon Valley gentlemen donned their best as they traveled overseas, and Silicon Valley officially adopted us as its preeminent luxury menswear brand.

Here’s a look back on the looks that defined the year.

The year kicked off with our most ambitious project to date: The Apex Campaign. Featuring model Justin Belcher wearing a $6k+ Signature Franco Uomo Look with Loro Piana fabric and photographed by Paul Ferradas, the editorial became the keyframe for a newly launched FrancoUomo.com.

By June, our reputation for elite menswear became solidified when Franco Uomo was named Best Menswear Brand in Silicon Valley by Silicon Valley Modern Luxury Magazine. The cover photo featured Earthquakers Soccer Player Chris Wandolowski wearing a Signature Franco Uomo Suit with Loro Piana fabric in a charcoal windowpane pattern similar to the Apex Campaign. Our new custom bridal boutique, was also named the Best Bridal Salon in Silicon Valley.

Sports was the name of the game for 2022. California Golden Bears Basketball Coach Charmin Smith wore Franco Uomo court-side for her most important games including the first nationally televised women’s college basketball game in history.

Go Bears!

Our new Brother-From-Another-Mother Huff became a Bow-Tie Aficionado this year and found his inner-Apex in his new Signature Loro Piana Suit by Franco Uomo.

Our dear friend Joe wore this Franco Uomo White Tuxedo Jacket with a Custom Silk Shawl Lapel made on Santana Row with a woven silk ascot to Napa wine-billionaire Jean-Charles Boisset’s Summer White Party.

EXPORTING PURPLE: Martin (Left) wore this Signature Franco Uomo double-breasted purple windowpane jacket with a black collar to his special event in Dubai and Chase (Right) wore his Signature Franco Uomo purple jacket with red accent buttonholes and woven silk tie and pocket square to a special event in Ireland.

Then There Was The Grooms

Steven tied the knot in this Signature Franco Uomo Tuxedo with a purple silk lapel, matching custom bow tie and accented shirt buttons. He also made us proud to be suit-makers by having his Franco Uomo Signature Wedding Suit turned into the topper for his wedding cake!

Steven created a look of his own with this vintage inspired grey Signature Suit with a windowpane waistcoat, custom bow tie, and luxe dress shirt with accented buttons.

We opened Francouomo Atelier in 2020 just as the Pandemic hit with a mission to make gowns for “the brides our grooms are marrying.” We are finally proud to reveal the first Full Custom Wedding Looks designed together at our custom clothing boutiques on Santana Row!

And the Look Of The Year Goes To….

DAUD! Covid never looked so good, if you ask us. Here Franco Uomo Designer Daud celebrates his return to Santana Row after sick leave with Covid by having a slice of Cheesecake at Maggiano’s and sporting a Luxe Dress Shirt from our upcoming 2023 Collection.
